Multitasking is a requirement

Today I felt like throwing up 3 times. My stress level had gotten to the point that I felt my head trying to break free of my body and fly away. The saddest part is that I realize that I wouldn't have it any other way. Well, maybe a bit less intense at times but it is a rush to know I can do it. I think my brain expanded its pathways in an attempt to keep all the tasks that needed my attention in order and followed through to a successful end. The buzzing I now hear in my head seems to dull the pressure behind my eyes and cheek bones. The glass of wine that I'm drinking is forcing me to breath through my nose (I'm sipping slowly) and unconsciously relaxing my muscles. Another day of work down. Time to enjoy Home.

Home is humming birds at the window feeding , adirondack chairs in the zen garden. cats chasing bugs in the back yard and silence. Husband's playing golf (nice night for it), step-daughter is... uh... out I guess. I watched some news to ensure I don't miss any massive disasters or new war with some alien planet of robots but now the TV is off. Once the news casters get all giggly over some deadly accident it is time to shut the power off the "boob tube".

I do believe it is even time to shut down the computer. Seeing as I deal with them all day, I don't usually boot one up at home unless I'm paying bills online. I even went to check facebook. It was kind of like going back to watch an old soap opera. I didn't miss anything. Sure lots of comments, quotes, game requests, and such but nothing meaningful. I'm young enough to say that all my friends live on facebook. They update their status at our softball games. They send me invites to come over to their house and then wonder why I didn't show up. Well I didn't check facebook... oh excuse me... FB. My life is acronyms, does facebook really need one too? Even sending me an email or a text is better than some request on facebook. Just spell out the words so I don't have to take a second to translate...rotfl... huh?  I much prefer :)

:)

p.s Humming Bird food is very easy to make yourself: 1/4 - 1/3 cup sugar to 1 cup water. The red food dye is optional once they find the feeder.
